Default Case for the iPhone 4

The "Default Case" is a great accessory for your iPhone 4.  It is made out of a plastic material with a rubber coated spray.  This makes the case anti-fingerprint, soft to the touch, and skid-proof.  I'd also like to metion that this snap-on case is very thin and lightweight.  Although this case is currently only compatible for the AT&T iPhone, they will be releasing a Verizon case in the near future!

Unfortunately, the contents of the packaging only include the case itself with no screen protector.  However, this is understandable as to how the case only retails for the cheap and affordable price of $5!

The accessibility of this case is fantastic!  All the ports are easily accessible with nice big cut-outs, so even if you have larger thumbs you will not have any issues.  There is a key hole cut-out for the camera and I had no issues with the flash washing out.

The protection of this case is not the best.  This is a common issue that snap-on cases have because they are made to supply minimal bulk and are very lightweight.  However, this case supplies ok drop and scratch protection.  It also has a "lay on the table" design, meaning that the cases rises over the screen.  This allows you to put your iPhone face down on the table, without any worries about your screen being scratched from debris on the surface.  My only complaint was since this case has a perforated design, I noticed that dust got into the small holes quite easily.

The looks of this case is hands down amazing!  First of all, I love how the "default case" comes in 9 vibrant colours to choose from.  I also enjoyed how the perforated design allowed you to see both the black/white from your iPhone mixed the vibrant colour of your case.  It also stands out in a crowd, so if you want your iPhone to be low profile, I would recommend buying the black case. 

Bottom Line

Overall, this is a great case for your iPhone 4.  I only had 1 complaint about this product, which is quite unusual since I am very picky when reviewing cases.  The looks and accessibility of this case is great, but the protection is just ok.  The price to this case is spectacular compared to the quality of the case and you won't regret purchasing it.  I would highly recommend this to someone who is looking for an inexpensive case that looks great, has easy access to ports, and does not drop their phone a lot.
