Crossfade LP Heaphones by V-Moda

Crossfade LP Heaphones by V-Moda
The headphones come in a stunningly stylish box, made decorated with pleather and high-quality cardboard.  You get an extremely impressive carrying 'exoskeleton' case, that carries the headphones themselves.  Further contents consist of a 1/4" adapter, a cable with a clicker and microphone, a pure audio cable, and a carabiner, all in very nice pouch.  You also get a microfiber cloth, instructions, and a VIP Membership card.  The card gives you a lifetime warranty with the Crossfade LPs, and you can buy them at half price, if anything should happen to them.

The V-Moda Crossfade LPs may have only two word to describe them, amazingly excellent.  The ear cushions are extremely soft and comfortable while in use.  The cushions go around the ears, enclosing the ears and thus, giving some decent noise cancellation.  The drivers are located under a cloth mesh, and they feel extremely solid.  One thing to note is the ear cushions smelt like rubber.  However, the smell fades away over time.

The Gun-Metal Black have a matte finish to the metal, making it almost scratch-proof and anti-fingerprint.  The designs include the Pearl White, Phantom Chrome, Nero, and Rouge.  The Rouge are no long sold on V-Moda's website.  However, Amazon or E-Bay should sell it.

The headband is soft, thickly padded, and comfortable.  I have wore these headphones for 3 hours straight without the slightest discomfort. The part of the band that meets your scalp is padded with a soft cloth that does not stick to your hair.  The top is covered with pleather, with v-moda's logo embossed in faded letters (for the Gun-Metal Black).  The ear cups extend from the band to accommodate all head sizes.

Headphones need time to "burn", much like a new car.  At first, vocals were horrendous, and bass was too overwhelming.  However, after forcing myself through 48 hours of using them, they 'burned' up.  The wait was definitely worth it.  Vocals are rather clear, and YouTube videos sound great. Bass is excellent, almost overpowering, but it was all good, after settling EQ settings. Mids are clear, but trebles may go off. However, this may not apply to all music, as these headphones are indeed queer. They sound rather echo-ey, and this either enhances or deprives sound quality, sometimes. These headphones sound good for  Pop, Country, Dance, Electronic, Rap, and Rock.

I would reccomend that you go to your local electronics store, and test them out to see if they suit you.  The best advice I can give you is to go try them, before you buy them.

Comparing these to Monsters headphones, I would say V-Moda is better.  Build quality, audio range, and comfort,  the Crossfade LPs will win.  For $200, these are a much better value for money, compared to the Beats (of any kind).

However, if you are looking for headphones with lots of bass. The Beats may prove to be a better option. Of course, there are many other headsets with much better audio quality, with triple the price. But at its price point,  I would recommend the Crossfades over the Beats.

All in all, they are excellent and deserves a 9/10. Only losing 1 point for V-Moda's website, which gave me numerous problems when ordering.  Definitely go check it out, but preferable not on V-Moda's website.
