Brushes

Brushes
Very rarely will I give applications a rating about 8, but this application definitely deserves to get n 8.5/10.  Brushes is simply a painting application, which is easy to access through your iDevice of choice.  However, this application raises the bar for other media-creating application for portable devices.

Brushes is intuitive, using one's fingers to 'paint' on your device's screen.  However, unlike many other painting applications for iDevices, this application takes full advantage of the extremely sensitive capacitive touch screen found in iDevices.  To paint a smooth line in one's picture, you can simply use the 'Pinch to Zoom' feature, which allows you to slowly enlarge the picture so detailed lines can be drawn.  This is especially taken advantage of for the iPad's large screen.  This feature allows exremely accurate zooming from 70% to 1600%.

This application also comes with different features, besides having the ability to allow simple straight colored lines to be drawn.  One can use the 'Eyedropper Tool' to create certain effect, as well as the ability to copy and paste layers bewteen paintings and much more.  This may seem little, but there are too many things to cover in the review.  Therefore, I would highly reccomend searching this application on the Apple App Store, or you can also go to 'Brushes' website.

All in all, you have to trust this application to suit your creative needs.   However, it comes at a price for all these feature, it is by no means cheap.  Although the price is high, it can also be useful when you have hundreds of picture to paint while waiting to pass.  That is if your not already playing addictive games, such as Angry Birds!
